'Viridian' is the name for an intense green pigment with hues of blue.
Viridian comes from the Latin ‘Viridis’ meaning green, blooming, verdant. It is also a colour that is known to be durable, unaffected by high temperatures and compatible with many other pigments.

She established the business to share her vast expertise in qualitative research, research operations and research business management.

Monica Greenwood is the founder and owner of Viridian Research & Consulting and is its Principal Consultant. She established the business to share her vast expertise in qualitative research, research operations and research business management having partnered with clients for over 25 years to drive growth in a large range of industries and sectors. This has included FMCG, banking & financial, health insurance, education, automotive, transport and retailing as well as extensive experience in the government and social sector at both the state and federal level.

Monica has held senior research leadership roles at Culture Amp as the Research Operations Lead and at Bastion Insights as the General Manager. She has also worked with several leading research agencies including Luma, Research International and Frank Small & Associates.

Monica’s experience covers both qualitative and quantitative methodologies with a focus in more recent years on online approaches, in particular online communities and customer panels with strengths in advertising and communications research as well as business-to-business research. She is a fully trained qualitative researcher having conducted thousands of groups, depth interviews, stakeholder sessions and immersive qualitative methodologies. She is also passionate about research operations and quality assurance, ensuring gold standard application of the Privacy Laws to protect our participants’ data.

Monica holds a Graduate Diploma (Marketing) from Monash University and Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from RMIT. She is a full member of The Research Society and is accredited as a Qualified Professional Researcher (QPR).
